Blue is considered to be calmness, hope, inner harmony and peace. Especially, when we find the color of blue in summer, we will feel cool and fresh, so the blue LED lights are popular with us, they are used in lots of area in our daily life.
In recent years as LED lights'output has increased, LEDs (light emitting diodes) have become more acceptable as a light source. It is commonly accepted that LEDs are available light source of the future as they have a higher efficiency than traditional forms of lighting, and requiring less energy in their manufacture process. LED lights really come into our life.
One of my favorite uses for blue LED lights is illuminating water and swimming pools. Blue LED lights can create stunning color effects in water. The single wavelength color of the light allows it to travel well through the water this can result in stunning light effects.
The most important key to illuminating a swimming pool is that the blue LED lights should be positioned facing away from the house or main view area. This will not only avoid having the bright light shining into the viewers eyes, but will also give the illusion of color washing over the pools surface.
The beam spread or lens angle will affect the way the blue LED lights shine through the water and its effects in the swimming pool. LEDs naturally have very directional optical properties. Try and select a light with a minimum of a 120 degree beam spread. If the blue LED lights have narrow, or no optical lens, they may claim high light output figures at 1m, however they will not cast an even glow through the pools water and may produce high spots or shadowed areas.
