Using White LED Lights Bulb

Conventional LED lights bulbs are made from a variety of inorganic semiconductor materials. The most current 11 colors and wavelength are common. Note that they also include infrared and ultra-violet outside of the visible spectrum. White light can be produced by mixing different colors of light. The most common method is to combine red, green, and blue; however, this method is very sophisticated and involves electro-optical design to control the blending and diffusion of different colors. In principle, this mechanism has higher efficiency in producing white light.

There are several types of multicolored white LEDs: di-, tri-, and tetra chromatic white LED lights bulb. The key factors to consider are color stability, color rendering capability, and luminous efficiency. Often, higher efficiency will mean lower quality color rendering. As an example, the dichromatic white LED light has the best luminous efficiency (120lm/W) but the lowest color rendering capability. Tetra chromatic white LEDs have excellent color rendering but often have poor luminous efficiency. Trichromatic white LEDs provide a balance between both good luminous efficiency and fair color rendering capability. Tetra chromatic white LED light bulb have excellent color rendering but often have poor luminous efficiency. Trichromatic white LED light bulb provides a balance between both good luminous efficiency and fair color rendering.

We must define "white" light. In the common usage of light in entertainment lighting, color temperature, as defined by the Kelvin scale, is generally described as household lights, 3000K; theatre and film lights, 3200K; and outdoor film light, 5600K. The problem is that what LED manufacturers call "white light" is actually around 3000K or 4700K. Depending on your application, this can be an obstacle for using specific while LED light bulb.
