There are good and bad ones intermingled in the LED Strip Lights market,it is a big difference of price between formal manufacturer product and the cheap copy one . The customer cannot identify the quality of the LED Strip Lights professionally, so we will share you some easy method to tell the LED Strip Lights through the appearance.
 
Look at the welding spot.    
Formal LED Strip Lights manufacturers adopts the technology of the SMT led, which produced by the solder paste and reflow soldering. So welding spots are more smooth and the soldering spot is few ,which solder joints are in arc shape which outspread from FPC board to LED electrode place .
Identify the quality of FPC.  
There are two kinds of copper,they are apply copper and calender copper. Apply copper is bulge from the pad, you can see it in the joint of the pad and FPC.If there are to much bends on the apply copper, the pad will drop,and so the high temperature during the fixing time.
Tell the surface cleanness of the LED Strip Lights .
If the LED Strip Lights adopts the art of SMT,the surface of it will be clean and no stains. If it is copy one ,no matter how to wash,the stains will still on it.
Note the packaging.
The formal LED Strip Lights will adopt anti-static coil material plate packaging, usually 5 meters a roll or 10 meters a roll .Then sealed by the anti-static packaging. But the copy one use the recycling roll materials plate to save cost and no anti-static package, you can find out the trace of washing label.
